rand Theft Auto: IV Difficulty Scale:
* = Requires basic Grand Theft Auto skill. You will probably unlock these trophies just by playing the game (a.k.a. not making an effort for them). These trophies do not take much time to complete. If you cannot obtain these trophies you need to give up on GTA: IV right now, seriously.
** = Requires basic Grand Theft Auto skill. You will probably have to make a conscious effort for these trophies. You will have to invest a small amount of time to obtain these trophies. You will need a basic understanding of what you are supposed to be doing to obtain these trophies.

I have never been more proud of a trophy in my life. This was the first platinum I ever got and I would do it all over again in a instant.

Off The Boat
You have completed the first mission.
DIFFICULTY: *
Self-explanatory. Complete the first mission. Try not to laugh too much at Roman's drunk-ass.
One Hundred And Eighty
You scored 180 with 3 darts.
DIFFICULTY: *
This one is fairly easy. You have to hit the "Triple 20" with all 3 darts. If you don't know what a "Triple 20" is then I get to hit you with a chair before you may watch the following video. Now don't argue....thems are the rules.

Pool Shark
You beat a friend at pool.
DIFFICULTY: **
This is self-explanatory. It cannot be a random stranger which means you need to call a friend and ask him to hang out. Packie seems to be the worst pool player for whatever reason. Little Jacob appears to be better at pool than others.
King of QUB3D
You beat the high score in QUB3D.
DIFFICULTY: **
This one can be frustrating but it's not difficult. QUB3D is a "Liberty City video game" that can be found all around the world. The easiest place to find it is "The Triangle" strip club in Bohan. The game is a lot like Tetris. An in-game tutorial will tell you how to play and the high score is located at the top of the screen while you are playing.
Finish Him
You completed 10 melee counters in 4 minutes.
DIFFICULTY: **
This can be difficult. You are allowed to die during the 4 minutes. If you do die, just pick a fight on the street right by the hospital where you will spawn. You can usually perform 2 melee counters on a target before the target is killed/won't fight anymore. To execute a melee counter:
1. Enter combat mode by locking onto a target by pressing
. Make sure you don't have a weapon out. Unless, of course, you consider those fists of steel a weapon. If so, then get those out.
2. As your opponent begins to swing (punch) at you, press
once.
3. If done correctly, Niko will duck underneath the punch.
3. Once Niko ducks, press

to execute the counter. A counter will result in Niko attacking the opponent several times combo-style.
The easiest place to do this is right at the beginning of the game outside the first safehouse. You will get minimal police attention here. REMEMBER: This is hand-to-hand combat. You will not be able to melee counter anybody who has a gun. You may have to punch somebody once to get them to start fighting you. If you target a non-combative enemy tap to get Niko to enter combat mode. Tap 
to make Niko jab or push the opponent and it's on like Donkey Kong!!
Genetically Superior
You came first in 20 singleplayer street races.
DIFFICULTY: **
These are the races you do for Brucie. You have to call him and select the "Race" option (Phonebook>Brucie>Race) to initiate the race. Then you must obtain a car and get to the start line. Once you complete all the tracks available you will be able to call Brucie and ask to join a race at any time. Win 20 for this trophy. Sometimes when you call Brucie his response is, "Sorry bro there aren't any races available right now." If this happens move to another island on the map and try calling him again. Once you complete all the tracks this shouldn't happen anymore.
Wheelie RiderYou completed a 500 foot wheelie on a motorbike.
DIFFICULTY: **
Some people have trouble with this trophy. It's easy if you know how. Get a sport bike first.
1. Find a long straight-away such as a bridge or highway.
2. Pull the left stick all the way back (down).
3. Use the gas to maintain your wheelie.
4. From a parked position hit the gas with the stick pulled all the way back and once the front wheel raises you will use the gas button to maintain the wheelie. KEEP THE LEFT STICK ALL THE WAY DOWN AT ALL TIMES. Simply tap the gas as your front wheel falls to raise it back up. It will be easier to maintain the wheelie if you keep your speed down.
Gobble Gobble
You got a turkey in 10-pin bowling.
DIFFICULTY: **
So this one has caused many problems. It's easy once you know what/how to do.
1. Select to play a full or half game.
2. Select the lane on the FAR LEFT (Lane 1).
3. Take TWO FULL STEPS to the left.
4. Pull the stick straight down as your count, "One, One-Thousand".
5. As you begin to say "Two, One-Thousand" push the stick up very slowly and methodically and time it so that you get to the top as you finish saying the "thousand" in "two, one-thousand".
6. DO NOT use aftertouch.
If done correctly this will result in a strike EVERY TIME. Not most of the time, or some of the time....EVERY TIME. If you are not getting a strike EVERY TIME then your timing is slightly off and you need to adjust. A lot of people struggle with this but once you get the timing down you will be a master. I have 11 perfect games recorded in my save game. Keep an eye on your speed. It will help you gauge the difference in your timing.
